This year’s Peru Biennial aimed to represent the artistic dynamism of Latin America on a global scale, bringing together artists from various disciplines. The Biennial reviewed 22,256 submissions from 60 different countries, ultimately selecting 560 works for exhibition. The jury included Carlos Gonzales (Peru), Elly Prestegard (Canada), Péter Pócs (Hungary), Monirul Alam (Bangladesh), and Ana Brum (Brazil).
The event opened on December 6, 2024, at the Aeronautical Museum in Lima, with representatives from the Turkish Embassy in Lima also in attendance. Artists and guests came together at this gathering, which embodied the Biennial’s vision of fostering cultural exchange.
